Motorola Droid X,the internet and multimedia enabled smartphone, which designed by Motorola,boasts a gorgeous touchscreen display,a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and the benefits of Android 2.0, including Google Maps Navigation, a faster Web browser, better messaging and contact management, excellent call quality and long talk time, as well as improved speed over previous Android devices.

Taking web browser, contact management, Navigation, and call quality aside, the 3.7-inch, 854x480 display of Motorola Droid X is absolutely a good medium to watch movies.You can imagine how amazing it is while enjoying a HD blu-ray movie on it. However,because of copyright and format issues,to play BD movies on Droid X, format conversion is essential, you need to convert them to MPEG4 or H.264 format previously,afterwards,it’s your watching time. My post aims to tell you a way to enjoy Blu-ray movies in the optimal settings,please check the following step-by-step instruction.

Required software:

Pavtube Bluray to Motorola Droid X Converter

Step 1: Download, install and launch Pavtube Bluray to Motoroal Droid X Converter

Once launched it, you can load BD files to it through three ways-"DVD Rom", "DVD Folder" and "IFO/ISO".



Step 2: Select subtitle and audio track

Click pull down menu of "Subtitle" and "Audio" to select your needed subtitle and audio track respectively. The drop-down list will show you all the info clearly, including language and stream ID of subtitle, language, audio codec, audio ID, and audio channel of audio. You can choose one at will, and the preview window will show you the changes in real time.

Step 3: Select output format

Click the drop-down menu of "Format" to select "Common Video"> "H.264 Video (*.mp4) as output format.



Step 4: Set optimal settings for Motorola Droid

Click "Settings" button to optimize video and audio parameters, the optimal settings are listed as below.

Video codec: H.264 MP4

Size (resolution): 848*480pix

Bit rate: 2500kbps

Frame rate: 24fps

Audio codec: AAC

Sample rate: 48kHz

Bit rate: 64kbps/ 96kbps/ 128kbps

Channels: Stereo



These settings will let your BD movies display at full screen with great quality without looking distorted or having the audio out of sync issues. If you prefer a smaller file size, just set the video bit rate down to 1500kbps and it will still looks fine on screen.

Step 5: Start Blu-ray ripping for Droid with Pavtube Bluray to Droid X Converter

Once all settings are done, you can click "Convert" button to start Blu-ray ripping.

The output MP4 files can be found out via clicking "Open" button effortlessly, what you should do next is uploading the videos from your computer to the memory card of your Droid X. You can go to this site to find the detailed process.
