Image On the WWDC keynote presentation, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced Safari is available for windows operating system. The keynote speech also covered new features of Leopard and developer access for iPhone.

Although only owning a small portion of the browser market, Safari loads and draws web pages up to twice as fast as Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Mozilla Firefox 2, says on Apples web site.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs first presented new features on Leopard, including an amazing demo of the new "Finder". After introducing Safari for windows, at the end of his speech, he announced that it is possible for developers to develop applications for iPhone, which will be available for purchase June 29th.

The small, Widget-like programs for the iPhone are based on Web 2.0 and AJAX. They will be run within Safari.
